REET Exam 2021: REET exam was scheduled for April 25, but due to the 'Mahavir Jayanti' on the same day people on social media and public representatives were continuously demanding the change of the date.

The date of the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) for Teacher Recruitment in Rajasthan has changed. Earlier, the exam was scheduled for April 25, but now the board has changed its Exam date to Sunday, 20 June 2021. This information was given by Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education Chairman DP Jaroli.
A press release issued by the Government said the main reason to postponed this exam is to provide all the major benefits of reservation to economically backward classes.
Later Chairman Jaroli said that according to the Chief Minister, instructions were also has been provided to conduct the exam at the earliest, after which the date of the REET exam 2021 has been fixed on 20th June Sunday keeping in view all aspects.
This year 31,000 posts will be recruited for the post of teacher and approx 16 lac candidates have applied for the REET exam.
